Here is the tutorial for the Quilt Card. I am using a crochet butterfly I won from
Elena's Bearsaurus blog. If you've never checked out her blog before, you just must. She is incredibly talented.
1. Cut a piece of CS paper to 5" x 5". You can use a left over CS. I did. Remember, you will not see this paper so you can pick any color you like.
2. Using a 1 1/4" square punch, punch out DP and card stock papers of coordinated colors from your scrap pile. I used my Sizzix Texturz plates to give my CS more character.
3. Assemble the small squares. After you've found the layout(quilt) you like, paste them down with glue stick.
4. Using Sizzix bigshot Stampin' Up Top note die, cut the quilt.
5. Embellish quilt with a ribbon, a greeting, and/or accessories. Paste it onto a card and you are done. Helen, do you like it? This is for you. I will put in your mailbox tomorrow morning. Isn't the butterfly just so lovely?
Really cute blog and great music!
