Stampin Up Party - January

I was not able to attend the party this month.  We were at the beach with my nieces.  Older one, Rebekah, I have not seen in three years ever since she moved to Korea to sing for a pop group called "AfterSchool."  I am glad we were able to spend some time together.

I love the Valentine's Day card.

Another 300 cards

Ok, I am really getting addicted to making simple cards and giving them away.  I gave away handmade cards for Christmas gift and people really appreciated it so I made more.  I packaged them away too quickly to take pictures but here are a few. I made little over 300.

Stampin' Up Party - last one May 01, 10

Well, we are saying farewell to our monthly meeting.  So sad.... :(  We did a card exchange on the last day.  Lynette made a pretty bag for all of us with a matching tag and a cute little 6 x 6 album.  Soooo cute.

Here are the cards we made on our last meeting.  I was the host.  I did not cook but instead ordered party platter from Zippy's.  I think I should have cooked.

Don't they look so sophisticated?   I really love the "thoughts" stamp set.  Love the stamp.  Below is the card from Helen.

It's hard to see but it's really delicate looking.  So nice.  Next is from Cleo.  She gave us other brads too.  I will try and put them together soon and upload again.  Colors are so pretty.

Below is from Jackie, our demoonstator, she made them using only the colors that are retiring.

Next is from Joyce .  You can put candies inside and tie.  Great for graduation gift.

Last one is from Diane.  She joined us not too long ago but she makes some amazing stuff.  Isn't the card so cute.  Donna, not sure what happened to the pretty butterfly card.  I hope I did not leave it at the last party. I will upload when I find it.

Stampin' Up Party - 01/23/10, 02/20/10, & 03/06/10

I have been creating but just have not been uploading. Here are the projects from our Stampin' up parties.  JoAnn was the host for Jan; Diane was for Feb.; and Donna was for March.  I hope the dates are correct.
I can't find the pictures from Jan. party.  If I find them, I will add here.

Card Kits from CTMH

In preparing for next year, I bought some card kits from CTMH when they had a big sale this Christmas (along with some stamps).  It was easy to put together and took almost no time at all.

I added more embellishments (blings) to the Christmas cards above.  I will probably pass these cards out next year.  Below are some purse cards. Great to place gift cards

Stampin Up Party - 11/14/09

I was so late to the Stampin' Up party.  My other work-related meeting ran sort of long.  All the cards were already made except for the ornament card (silver/gold) below.  I made it with the template Kim gave.  Mahalo Kim.  Not sure what else to do.  I will add some kind of embellishment.

Here are other cards. Love that ornament punch and stamp.  I might get it this Christmas.

This one was from Cleo, host of November party.

Here is a card from my OCS partner Shilo in Utah.  The card is so darling.  Don't you think?  Thanks Shilo.

October OCS & Halloween cards

Here is the card I will be sending to Shilo for my October OCS.  I am going to also send a Halloween tag I made from Kim's October kit.  I hope you like them, Shilo. I used my Sizzix to cut out all of the pictures you see except for the little cat and the sentiment. It's hard to see but I used dimensionals for the house, the bat, and the ribbon.

Helen, I made a Halloween card for you.  Thanks for the wite-out. :-)What do you think about the color combination?  Someone once told me that you cannot go wrong with old olive and I am beginning to believe it.

Stampin Up Party - 10/17/09

I was so busy last Saturday that JoAnn O. had to make my cards while I went to drop my mom off at the airport. Aren't the cards so darling? I love them. We also made flowers out of scallop punch and pixie stick (scallop was the flower and the pixie stick was the stem). I thought that was very clever especially for a little girl's birthday parties. Kim also gave us bunch of embossed cards. They are super pretty. I think I will use one of them for my OCS. I know I am super late. I thought I would get it done last weekend but it is taking me another week. Thank goodness we have until the end of this month.

Here is a little gift from Diane O. She just joined us this year and look what she is creating already. It's a little slider. There is a small tin filled with candy hiding behind the wrapper. So cute... :-)

50 Christmas Cards Marathon

Ok, so Jeannie was doing another 50 cards workshop so I had to go. Crazy, right? We love it though. This time I brought my mom who was visiting me. Jeannie, thank you for allowing my mom to come and for Halloween treat. It was so much fun. I was able to finish 50 cards with my mom's help. Thanks mom!

Stampin' Up Homework

At last party, Kim gave us homework to do. We were given a panel card cut in three rows inside. Here is mine. I have been wanting to use rub-on's so I used couple of them above and below my daughter's picture.

Halloween Kit from Kim

Oh, they came out so cute. I cannot wait to give them away this Halloween. My favorite is the top note box with "boo." You have to check out Kim's blog for more information.

super simple card

Here is another angel card - super simple. Maybe I should add a ribbon at the bottom.

Stampin Up Party - 09/12/09

It was a big crowd last Saturday at our Stampin' Up Party. It was so good to see some familiar faces though. Here are some of the project we completed. I am beginning to really like those treat cups from Stampin' up. I love those little butterflies in the heart card.

Yes, Halloween is just around the corner. Can't believe how fast the year is going by!
